Vinnies Ellenbrook

I referred a lady to Vinnies to do volunteer work. She was turned away because she can’t stand for long periods of time. Just because she can’t stand behind the till for 4 hours, she was knocked back.Since when do you stand a volunteer behind the till for a 4 hour shift. I thought it was all about customer service, tidying up the shop - not standing in one spot for 4 hours straight.Turning away people that want to volunteer just because they might not be able to stand in one spot - why are shops turning these people away.

Great customer service and an amazing range of stock

Lovely clean store, books were great value. Some really good bargains to be had in menswear. All the staff were happy and friendly.

Michelle and Pamela at Vinnies Ellenbrook were so lovely and helpful today, they make it an absolute pleasure to shop there. The store is also very clean and well organised making it so easy to find what you are looking for.

I do like charity and shopping at charity stores as I’m quit poor, some of the prices at the store were more then if they were brand new which was quite unfortunate. As someone who struggles with money I would expect lower prices and more reasonable prices as it is second hand. It shouldn’t cost as much as it would brand new :( also I got charged to much and they couldn’t give me a refund and I really needed the money as I only came in for a couple items. They gave me credit instead which expired that day so unfortunately I had to spend it straight away. Seemed very wrong and crook. I felt like I was taken advance off. Not a good way to treat those that are struggling and generally need help, I didn’t have a good experience

I’ve never shopped at a Vinnie’s before but, after visiting the store in Ellenbrook, I’ll be back regularly. The choice of stock is amazing and, refreshingly, it has a great range in the plus section so I was able to easily locate great items my size. I found the staff to be unfailingly helpful and courteous.

There is only one word I have for this store and it’s wow from the clothes to the employees there all amazing especially the Saturday avo crew I always try to come in once a week and if I can do it in a Saturday I will just to see those two smile they are so nice and so helpful I would say give them a raise but that can’t happen but 100% recommend this location definitely the best op shop I have ever had the pleasure of visiting.
