Rude staff - my son was walking with my mum while I paid at the register and I saw him and put my hand out for him to come with me and as he came toward me a staff member stopped him and very rudely said “all children MUST stay with care givers because of the Cleo incident” to my mother suggesting she wasn’t taking care of him. There would have been less that a few meters in between us.Really presumptuous and rude and while the Cleo incident was terrible it has nothing to do with this store or that woman.Just gross people skills.This is not a family friendly store and I’d go as far to say none of the op shops on this drag are.

I had worst experience with them as I bought home speakers worth 200 dollars. I realise that these must be ok as these were packed in a box, when I opened the box next 2 days these were not even working and the remote and the main display was also not working. I went there to discuss regarding this. The staff was so unprofessional and not even ready to listen. They were making excuses rather to sort out. The manager’s behaviour was so rude and they make me so disappointed as I spent 200 dollars for their wastage items and didn’t even get voucher or even my money back. I just dropped the speakers there as these were no use for me. They must not make customers fool with their faulty items. Even I was spending lots of money there being a regular customer but this time they just make me disappointed with their fault.

Awesome place, super friendly workers. Love coming here to grab a bargain! The only op shop that has prices that are affordable and not almost retail price.Thank youDefinitely recommend.

I understand your frustration, Australia Life. I wish there were no stars either for this shop. I wanted to share a negative experience I had at Vinnies Cannington shop when I purchased a jacket that was too big.I politely asked if I could exchange it for a smaller jacket, but Lyn, a female manager, and another male staff member were extremely rude and yelled at me and my mother to leave the store. When I returned to the shop, the female manager shouted, Get out of the store!" and proceeded to rip up the receipt. Everyone

I wish there was no stars at all. I would gladly click it! One star is too much!I bought a superdry rescue jacket from Vennies, Cannington branch, got its receipt (you can find attached), paid $80 for it, went home to have lunch, after lunch I wanted to try my jacket again, when I checked my jacket there was a tear that needed stitching up at its zip. I was not happy, I felt so disappointed, I did not see it at the shop as I could not imagine at that price there will be any fault, nor the person who sold it to me mentioned it, I returned to Vennies after lunch, like an hr later, to return it and get a refund, there was someone else not the one that sold that jacket for me, she was so rude and loud, she did not want to listen, she was literally screaming at me saying in an indirect way that I did that to the jacket as she checked it that morning and did not see nothing I said If you checked and did not see that tearing I also checked it and could not see it! Same as you but it was there, I do not lie!I said, the item is faulty and all I want is to return it, get my $80 back!what is so hard about that?She said we are charity, we do not do refunds, I said but I did not get it for free, charity is free, I paid $80 for it! She said she can only give me credit that I can use within 3 months; I truly did not want anything to do with Vennies at all after that point, I felt that I will never want to shop there again. So, I found no other option but to take the jacket and the receipt back!I am very unhappy because of this very unprofessional and rude, and loud woman.I felt like the jacket was shoved in my throat and that I was scammed for Vennies to give charity to other people!I will never shop at any Vennies branch ever again nor recommend it to anyone!The photo of the receipt is attached!

Extremely friendly staff! Lovely store and good pricing! Definitely visit here if you after some goodies. I would say it’s the best in this area compared to other op shop. Thanks the checkout lady Mary, you are very very sweet lady. You made my day x

This store is the most calming of the three other stores around. Everything is beautifully ordered. Really lovely ladies in there, always feel comfortable shopping in there.

Beware:My daughter went to Vinnies to buy a jacket to match a dress. She found 3 possible ones and asked if she could pay for all 3 but return them and get a refund if they weren't suitable. The lady said yes.Yesterday, she kept 1, but returned the other 2 requesting a refund. A different person said no we don't do refunds only credits. She went back in the aft ernoon, and was told the same thing. She was given a credit note for 3 months.She was so very disappointed. If she was told this in the first place, she would not have purchased them. She is about to go interstate, where there are no Vinnies stores, and didn't want anything else in the store.So she has lost $50. that she couldn't afford to lose.

Can find some nice clothing here but the STAFF is very rude!
